Helpful mindset tip for achieving what you want:

We are wired for instant gratification. We make decisions in the NOW. Based on what’s going to make us feel good RIGHT NOW. Which is why we often give into temptations and cravings.

A question you can ask yourself when you’re faced with temptation is, How will this make me feel in one hour? An hour from now is not too far ahead so we can think ahead and realize if it’s something you want or will regret.

In just one hour you can either be proud of yourself for not giving into temptation or you will feel bloated, guilty, and disappointed?

Is it worth it? Dealing with the consequences just one hour from now will make you second guess your decision!

You can use this with your workouts too!

How will you feel one hour from now if you miss your workout? Sluggish and disappointed. Obviously, you don’t want to feel that way so get up, get dressed and go!

Sometimes we just have to take it hour by hour, day by day, until we get to our ultimate goal! Hope this helps you out when you’re faced with a decision. I know I used this today a few times!
